A CMO from the Eastern part of Switzerland fills more than 2 million tubes a day for its customers all over the world. Therefore they operate more in multiple configurations and are set up to meet stringent pharmaceutical standards, perform test fillings, and realize production batches or small-scale series as well. Companies from pharmaceutical industry are given never-ending possibilities – without investing in their own system and infrastructure. The CMOs pharma expertise was well appreciated when the COVID pandemic broke out, as the demand for hand hygiene products has drastically increased.

No wonder that Switzerland’s oldest pharmacy chain -which operates a network of 42 stores in the German-speaking part of the country-in the blink of an eye became their client. Their target was to get delivered stock tubes in Ø35 mm (75 ml) with flip-top cap to cover the needs to keep the nurses and doctors hands hygienically clean at all time. Since time was crucial, the CMO, our client was thrilled to find some of the rare stock tubes in this diameter for its first 20,000 pieces of test order.

Decoration: To expedite the process, they used a basic label design with 2 colors print, bold letters and reduced to the essential information only. They were impressed by being able to avoid the labelling – and after a 3 weeks delivery time the hand sanitizer started luring not only local people in need and but also pedestrians into the pharmacies.
